Gina & Frank brought down the house

Beautiful people, gorgeous setting and an amazing night.  That’s what we were all treated to at Gina & Frank’s blow out wedding in Hidden Hills last night.  It’s really a joy to see two great people who are great for each other, experience that dream night together.  I think it’s safe to say that, every guest had a blast, thanks mostly to Gina & Frank setting the tone with their very unconventional first dance!  I have posted the video of it below, please take a look and feel free to make comments.  Congratulations Gina & Frank, and thanks for allowing me to be a part of it!

Juan & Rhonda’s Wedding in Full Power HD

We just finished a monster, full power HD shoot.  A huge thank you to the bride, the groom and both of their beautiful families.  We had the privelege to shoot Juan & Rhonda’s wedding at Malibou Lake in full resolution 1920 X 1080 High Definition.  We used Sony’s PMW-EX1 cameras and I was like a kid in a candy store all day.  Big kudos to Juan & Rhonda for planning a gorgeous wedding that went off without a hitch.  Their tireless planning and attention to detail really allowed our shoot to be smooth and glitch free.  I was so blown away with the clarity, the resolution and how easy the workflow was on these cameras.  My assistant cameraman Nathan “The Boy Genius” Meier and I were shooting and loading clips to my laptop all day.  It went so smoothly that I decided to do a totally unplanned, impromptu same-day edit during dinner.  It might not go as smoothly to the music as I normally would demand, but I was so thankful to Juan & Rhonda for making the decision to really go all the way with this, that I wanted to give something back.  I had this video looping on my laptop from about 9:30 pm until the end of the wedding and think it was a big hit.  Of course the YouTube version won’t quite translate the resolution, but please post any comments you have, we’d love to hear your thoughts…
