We just finished a monster, full power HD shoot. A huge thank you to the bride, the groom and both of their beautiful families. We had the privelege to shoot Juan & Rhonda’s wedding at Malibou Lake in full resolution 1920 X 1080 High Definition. We used Sony’s PMW-EX1 cameras and I was like a kid in a candy store all day. Big kudos to Juan & Rhonda for planning a gorgeous wedding that went off without a hitch. Their tireless planning and attention to detail really allowed our shoot to be smooth and glitch free. I was so blown away with the clarity, the resolution and how easy the workflow was on these cameras. My assistant cameraman Nathan “The Boy Genius” Meier and I were shooting and loading clips to my laptop all day. It went so smoothly that I decided to do a totally unplanned, impromptu same-day edit during dinner. It might not go as smoothly to the music as I normally would demand, but I was so thankful to Juan & Rhonda for making the decision to really go all the way with this, that I wanted to give something back. I had this video looping on my laptop from about 9:30 pm until the end of the wedding and think it was a big hit.
